This is how it all started…

Born in Brooklyn, NY accustomed to middle-class living in the inner city, I was exposed to a plethora of experiences. Everything from family trips to the Poconos, Florida, and Puerto Rico as a young girl to riding the pissy elevators in Tilden projects in Brownsville as a teen. I watched Safari dance battle in the lunchroom at Midwood High School while cutting class to play spades before getting whisked away to Bishop Loughlin Catholic school by my parents in an effort to save my future! And that they did. Graduated from Howard University! Big up! Partied my *ss off and landed a corporate job upon graduation.

Fast forward years later and I am a homeowner, drive a Benz, just bought a Rolex, and travelled a bit, all while raising a child as a single parent. There’s a wonderful community of people who love, laugh with, and support me. For this, I am truly blessed! However, I woke up one day and had a knowing that there is more to this story… I always kept a journal and will continue to but now it will be online with my new friends!!
